In 2000 I decided to start Kindred Spirits Pet Care, Inc. After teaching for 5 years I made a career change to help run a boarding kennel. It was after working there for a year that I knew working with animals was my greatest passion and Kindred Spirits Pet Care was born. Kindred Spirits Pet Care, Inc. is based on the belief that our pets needs are of the utmost importance. We are a family owned business that is committed to meeting those needs. My husband Mike and I run Kindred Spirits together and alternate staying home with our two daughters, Julia 11 years old and Taylor 8 years old. Kindred Spirits has been a wonderful opportunity for our kids, it not only allows us to stay home with them but it has brought so much to their life. They are learning to love and take care of animals. It has been wonderful to see them grow up and interact with all of our Kindred clients.

Our 4 legged kids include Dudley (Bassett Hound), of course the Bassett's needed a Bassett., and Porter (Douge De Bordeaux). They are a MAJOR part of our family.

In 2006, due to client demand, Mike and I started KSPC Lawn Care & Snow Removal. Mike's services include lawn mowing, landscaping, lawn care maintenance, and snow removal.

In 2014 I was introduced to essential oils. I started using them on my family and myself with great success. I started investigation using them on my dogs and started developing recipes to try. It was so impressive and I had so much success that I decided to sell these natural dog products on an etsy store.

About us

Stacy and Mike have walked my 10-year-old wheaten terrier, Tara, at least twice a week for the past 8 years. They also board Tara when I go out of town, and I have had them take Tara for doggie day care when I'm working a particularly long day. Tara loves them, and they love her. They treat Tara as their own, and take excellent care of her. They leave me a note each day to let me know how things went during their visit, and tell me of anything unusual that they notice. I trust Stacy and Mike. They are responsible and ethical, and they take jusitifiable pride in their work. I have recommended Stacy and Mike to others, and have never heard a complaint. I would be glad to talk to anyone about their services - I recommend them without reservation.

We’ve had a number of friends tell us, “If I ever come back in another life, I want to come back as your dog.” We are very particular about every aspect of our dogs’ lives – and we are especially particular about anyone who is caring for them in our absence. That is why Kindred Spirits Pets has done day walks for our two labs for the past seven years. On occasion, they have administered meds and attended to other medical needs. Our dogs simply love both Stacy and Mike. Kindred Spirits doesn’t just “go through the motions”; they genuinely care for the pets they serve as if they were their own. We give them six stars rather than just the usual five.
